Annual Report 2023

The Board of Directors decided not to print the Annual Report this year for posting; instead, it will be available on the Website for download. This forms part of the Credit Union’s environmental awareness program. Credit Unions must take an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) approach meaning that credit unions explicitly consider both environmental risk mitigation and ways to maximise environment/climate-related opportunities in their strategies, planning, and metrics. It also provides savings to the Credit Union concerning printing costs and postal weight charges.

Please find the link to the PDF of our Annual Report for 2023 here.

Distributions 2023

The Board has decided, in the interest of prudence, to commit the majority of this year’s trading surplus to reserves. However, a small distribution made up of dividend and loan interest rebate is proposed this year and the Board is hopeful of increasing this distribution while also increasing the reserves over the coming years. The proposed distribution this year is a Dividend of 0.02% and a Loan Interest Rebate of 3%.

Wexford Credit Union Ltd is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
