The purpose of this Special General Meeting is to elect a Board Oversight Committee (BOC) under legislative requirements following the resignation of the BOC on 31st July 2023.
The candidates going forward for election are as follows:
Mairead Healy
Mairead is a former Senior Manager within Wexford Credit Union who brings a wealth of experience with her to this volunteer position.
Padraig Clancy
Padraig previously worked as a student in the Credit Control department. Seeing such youth and experience volunteering in his local Credit Union is great.
Michael Cogley
Michael has tirelessly supported the Credit Union movement throughout his life. He was involved with Piercestown Credit Union for many years and has also served with the Irish League of Credit Unions. Michael brings a wealth of experience to the BOC.
Lorraine Maher
Lorraine has been a past Director of Wexford Credit Union and has volunteered on many committees. Lorraine also brings many years of experience to the role.
Lorna O’Neill
Lorna is a past volunteer who previously served on committees. She is a welcome addition back as a volunteer.
The Board of Directors would like to thank all of the above for putting themselves forward for election. The Board has satisfied itself that they are qualified to be appointed and have appropriate and relevant experience to offer.
